Throughout his career, Donald has advised institutional investors, private banks, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
His expertise spans international mortgage lending, private credit, bridge financing, capital markets, wealth structuring, and global real estate finance.
Donald is the Co-Founder of Global Mortgage Group and America Mortgages, two specialist platforms focused on helping foreign nationals, expatriates, international investors, and globally mobile families access financing solutions that traditional domestic lending systems often cannot accommodate.
Today, the companies operate across more than 23 jurisdictions and have facilitated over USD 1.5 billion in real estate financing and private credit transactions.

Prior to founding GMG and America Mortgages, Donald held senior leadership positions at Citibank, BNP Paribas, Macquarie Bank, and China Construction Bank International.
Across these organizations, he led institutional equity sales and capital markets businesses serving institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers, and family offices throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Hedge Fund & Family Office Leadership
In the late 1990s, Donald founded one of Hong Kong’s early hedge funds, growing the business to approximately USD 200 million in assets under management.
He later managed what was then regarded as Asia’s largest family office, overseeing complex multi-jurisdictional investment strategies and wealth preservation structures for ultra-high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs.
